These four photographs are a selection from a new series created while I was an artist in residence during July/August, 2004 at ArtSway located in the New Forest in southern England. As I was listening to internet audio documentaries and testimonies about war and loss for my new installation Reverb, I found myself drawn to the clumps of burnt trees and dens (forts) made by children throughout the New Forest.
