AIDS...What does that stand for?
Is there really no cure? Like Cancer?

8th grade:
Can I get it from the toilet seat?
What if I drink after someone...a handshake?
Oh...I know that is not true, I think.

9th grade:
Can I get it from kissing someone?
But I don't know anyone with AIDS, do I?
I heard Keith from Granpa's church has AIDS.
What?
>From a blood transfusion.

10th grade: I just watched "And the Band Played On."
So that's what happened.
Is it?

11th grade:
They say:
It can happen to you.
It happens to people you know.
No.
It's no longer just an incurable disease or a gay man's problem...


>From then on:
I took my friend to a clinic.
I prayed for a negative.
I had to ask my boyfriend if he had been tested.
I had to admit that it could happen to me.
