Welcome to Exhibition XI of the Collected Visions Gallery.

All these stories are written by authors using their own photographs. Recent submissions of images with stories received over the Web and as a result of lectures I gave at San Francisco Camerawork and Empire State College in New York City inspired this exhibition.

Past galleries have contained stories written about the author's own images as well as about photographs of others chosen from our archive. The next gallery will focus on submissions where contributors have used images from the archive to inspire stories and trigger memories. I hope you will contribute. -- Lorie Novak

Our archive now has over 1600 images; many new photographs have been added. Please take a look. Email us at cvisions@cat.nyu.edu and let us know what you think.
