Before the War
submitted by V.W. Henningsen
They were quite young and they married quite young. One married the owner of a furniture store; one a fisherman. They lived in adjoining flats over the store. The husbands didn't get along. When the war came, the store owner collaborated with the Nazis during the occupation; the fisherman led the local resistance unit. The sisters knew everything. But said nothing.
