In 1970, Breznev
made a big problem for people who wanted to take their photos out of Russia.
If there was hand writing on the back of the photo, you could not take it
out of the country and had to leave it behind. That is why my heart breaks
when I remember about my childhood pictures, about my parents' and my family's
pictures. That is a wound which will always be open. If you had a picture
of a famous singer, you had to leave it behind. I miss the photos which
I was forced to leave in 1970 in Kishinev, Moldova.
