In 1990 we sisters tried to recreate a photo based on one of our Aunt, our Grandmother, and our mother. Interesting how different the results: our photo seemed to lack the intimacy of the earlier photo and yet ironically we, as sisters are much closer than those women upon whom we modeled ourselves.
