A Day at the Lake

It was a hot, boring day with nothing to do. I went over to Lauren's house to find something to do. We went walking and met some cute boys. They knew a secret spot that no one else knew about. They told us they would take us there. After walking for what seemed like forever, we finally made it to a quiet little cove. The water was still and the trees shaded us from the sun. From out of nowhere, the boys pushed us both in the muddy but surprisingly cool water. We squealed from shock and excitement. Immediately after, they joined us in splashing around and having fun. As the sun started to go down, we sat there realizing how much fun we had had.
